Aftercare begins with noticing problems early. Many common failures—buttons, open seams, loose hems—can be addressed before they become reasons to stop wearing the garment.

Resecure a loose button before the thread gives way completely.
Seam.
A small opening can often be repaired cleanly before tension extends the damage.
Surface.
Wear marks are not always faults. Decide whether the change affects function or simply adds character.
Does CULM currently promise a repair service for every product?
No. We do not want to promise a service unless it is actually available for the relevant product and location. Where a CULM repair or support option is offered, it will be communicated specifically.
What should I do before repairing?
Check the care label and fabric construction. For high-stress seams, structured garments or visible repairs you want to keep discreet, a skilled local tailor can often be the better route.
When is replacement reasonable?
When repair no longer restores safe function, fit or wearability. Longevity is not about keeping an unusable object forever—it is about avoiding premature replacement.
