Our aim is to connect the garment back to useful information about its material and making. The amount of information can differ by style and supplier, so we do not present missing data as certainty.

Relevant information about construction, batch or process when it has been verified.
Care.
Instructions tied to the actual fabric and finish so the garment can be maintained correctly.
Does every CULM piece have the same level of traceability?
Not necessarily. We would rather show a smaller set of verified facts than fill gaps with generic sustainability language.
What does a batch number mean?
Where used, a batch reference helps connect a garment to a particular production or cloth run. The exact information available behind a batch may vary by product.
What will CULM avoid?
We avoid presenting an origin, certification, maker attribution or impact claim unless the relevant information has been supplied and can be supported.
